Tom Vartabedian
Tom Vartabedian spent 40 years as a writer/photographer with The Haverhill (MA) Gazette before retiring in 2006. Since then he's been to Armenia twice, writing stories and taking pictures for Armenian publications throughout America. Tom remains active in the community, including education about the Armenian Genocide. He is the recipient of more than 50 journalism awards over his career, including the Haig Sarafian Award presented by the Armenian Students Asssociation and the Armenian Prelacy's Eagle Award given for community service.
